🧡 How to Make the Puffy Squishy Toy:
Laminate everything inside the red lines!
Use light lamination (like cold lamination or hand lamination) for the square squishy parts.
For small pieces, use thick and sturdy lamination.
Cut out all the pieces. ✂️
Make the envelope.
(No need to laminate the envelope!)Build the square squishy and fill it with stuffing like cotton or tissue paper.
Take out the paper doll parts and enjoy playing with them!
🐶 About Hellokitty:
Hello Kitty is a character created by a company called Sanrio. She was first released in 1974 and has become one of Japan’s most famous and beloved characters, loved all over the world even today.
There’s a story that Hello Kitty was created to compete with the Snoopy character, so they chose a cat as her design.
The very first designer of Hello Kitty was Yuko Shimizu at Sanrio. But she left the company not long after. Then came the second designer, Setsuko Yonekubo, and later the third, Yuko Yamaguchi.
It was Yamaguchi who gave Hello Kitty the look we know today. That’s why many people call Yuko Yamaguchi “Hello Kitty’s mom,” even though she wasn’t the original creator.
Hello Kitty loves baking cookies and playing the piano. Her dream is to become a pianist and a poet!
She’s good at music and English, and her favorite food is her mom’s homemade apple pie.
Her best friend is her twin sister, Mimmy.
Some of the things Hello Kitty treasures the most are storybooks, a photo album full of memories, and a key she found in the forest. Her personality is cheerful and kind.
One of the most important parts of Hello Kitty’s look is her red ribbon. Her mom gave it to her so people could tell her apart from her twin sister, Mimmy.
Originally, Hello Kitty didn’t speak. But in 1981, she got a voice in a movie, and since then she’s appeared in many kinds of shows and videos.
These days, there are even cover songs sung by Hello Kitty! So… maybe it's okay to draw her mouth now?
Most drawings of Hello Kitty still don’t show her mouth, but if she needs to talk in a story, sometimes artists add one.
